President Ford will discuss a number of topics, including how student government leaders are advocating for healthy state appropriations for the University and working with the Penn State Grassroots Network to support the University’s legislative goals. President Ford will also be joined by featured guest Alan Janesh, Director of the Penn State Grassroots Network.
This videoconference will focus mainly on UPUA’s “We Are Worth Funding” campaign. This campaign was created to advocate for increased state appropriations for Penn State, form stronger relationships with students and state legislators, and show how healthy support from our state government benefits Penn State students throughout the Commonwealth.
Finally, President Ford, Director Janesh, and Paul Clifford hope to discuss student government group participation in Penn State Capital Day. This year, Penn State Capital Day is set for Wednesday, March 22nd 2017, in Harrisburg PA.
